2:30pm: A ceremony
If formal declarations of love are your kind of thing, let’s meet at Lewes Register Office at 2:30pm. It’s here, just around the corner from Lewes train station. The ceremony itself starts at 3pm.
A bus will pick us up to go to the party at around 4pm, or feel free to make your own way there.
4:30pm – 1am: A party
Let’s have a nice party in a big yurt on the South Downs. It’s here. We’ll have some drinks, play some tunes, and be merry.
There will be a self-serve bar. There’s no formal dinner, but pizzas will be served between 6pm and 7pm. If you have any dietary needs, let us know here.
The site has a yurt with a sound system, spaces to sit and chat, a bonfire and a few amenities (running water, gas hobs, showers, compost toilets). Otherwise it’s essentially a big slopey field, so we’d recommend dressing reasonably practically. If you want to drop anything off in advance, we’ll be there the night and morning before.
